We have often heard that publishing books is expensive and requires a lot of financial investment. There is also the perception that a book can only be published in a large print run and can only be afforded by established writers whose long works have been financed by someone else. However, this is not true.
Publishing your own book is no longer difficult or expensive, thanks to modern technology. The main thing is that it is written and the planned material, in manuscript format, is ready for submission to a publishing house. For our part, we, as the publishing house, will do the rest:
we will professionally edit and proofread the text;
we will provide the page layout and cover design;
we will order the printing and monitor its quality;
we will deliver and, if the customer wishes, distribute the book.
Most of our authors order small print runs of their books – around 50 to 100 books. Often it is poetry, a novel or a collection of short stories; many are about the history of a particular family. We are very happy that these family memories will be preserved for future generations!
Lately, many people also want to publish their own cookbooks. A wonderful idea if you want to share your experiences with others!
Please note that despite the small print runs we offer, the technical quality of the books is certainly not behind the complete books we see in any bookshop. We can also provide small print runs in colour, on high quality paper, in hardcovers and with sewn pages! In addition, our technical capabilities allow us to apply bookbinding techniques to the cover design that were previously only available in traditional offset technology, such as gold or silver foil stamping, full or partial UV varnish highlighting, congreve and intaglio printing. All this to make your dream book very attractive and unique!
